Ekādaśa Mukhānām Avalokiteśvara (Eleven-Headed and Six-Armed Guanyin)

又名杨枝观音。出土于大海寺遗址，青石质。中两手合靠胸前，下两手左手持净瓶，右手持杨枝，故名。

Ekādaśa Mukhānām Avalokiteśvara is one of the most common iconographic forms of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva (Guanyin Bodhisattva). He is also called the Yang Zhi Guanyin. A statue of Yang Zhi Guanyin, made of lapis lazuli, was unearthed from the ruins of Dahai Temple. The middle two hands of him are joined in front of the chest; the lower left hand holds a bottle and the right hand a willow branch. Hence, the name Yang Zhi (willow branch).
