莫高窟第45窟修建于盛唐时期，中唐、五代重修。西壁龛内有唐代塑像趺坐佛、两弟子、观音、大势和两天王。

Mogao Cave 45 was built during the High Tang period and renovated during the Mid-Tang and the Five Dynasties. In the niche in its western wall are Tang sculptures of a Buddha sitting cross-legged, two disciples, Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta, and two Heavenly Kings.
