1.语音名词 a noun of phonetics 1.韵母，字音中声母、声调以外部分，包括介音在内，如“堂(táng)”的韵母是ɑng，“皇(huáng)”的韵母是uɑng the final of a syllable, the syllable minus the initial, including a medial, e.g. ɑng of táng, and uɑng of huáng. 2.字音中声母、介音、声调以外的部分，如“堂(táng)皇(huáng)”都是 ɑng 韵。 又如 ɑn、iɑn、uɑn、üɑn 是四个韵母，同是 ɑn 韵 the syllable minus the initial and the medial, e.g. ɑng in táng and huáng or ɑn in ɑn, iɑn, uɑn, and üɑn：～文 yùnwén literary composition in rhyme; verse/ 押～ yāyùn rhyme/ 叶(xié)～ xiéyùn rhyme
