推贤让能 | tuī xián ràng néng | To cede to the worthy and yield to the able. (literal) • Give place to your betters. • Let the best dog leap the stile first. • Let him who knows the instrument play upon it. [同义] 能者多劳 Only an elephant can bear an elephant’s load. [反义] 用人唯亲 Jobs for the boys. [源] 尚书：“推贤让能。”
