Statue of Shakyamuni and Prabhutaratna Sitting Side by Side: statue whose theme originates from Chapter 11, “Apparition of a Stupa” from the Lotus Sutra. Seated in the same full-lotus position, the two identical Buddhas both have wavy hair with topknots, and wear robes covering the left shoulder; their faces appear rustic and look down towards the ground. These features are characteristic of Buddhist sculptures from the Northern Dynasties period.
