佛教经典。维摩诘是大乘佛教所塑造的在家菩萨的典型，经文通过维摩诘与文殊师利菩萨以及佛弟子们的往来辩论，论述了“心净则佛土净”“菩萨行于非道，是为通达佛道”等道理。

A Buddhist classic, illustrating the truths of “Mental purity leads to a pure Buddha-realm” and “The bodhisattva’s practicing the wrong way is to reach the enlightenment” through the debates among the Vimalakirti-nirdesha—typical layman Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism— Manjushri, and other disciples of Buddha.
