Mogao Cave 25: Painted Qing Dynasty Sculpture

莫高窟第25窟宋代修建，清代重修。西壁龛内有清代塑像五身和两个天兽，龛外塑有普贤菩萨和文殊菩萨各一身。

Mogao Cave 25 was built during the Song Dynasty and later renovated during the Qing. Inside the western niche are five statues of figures and two of heavenly beasts made in the Qing Dynasty. Outside the niche are two painted statues of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra and Bodhisattva Manjusri.
