石窟内部空间的顶部，因时代不同，石窟平面布局各异，其顶部亦有不同的形式。早期的中心柱窟，均作覆斗顶式窟顶。此外尚有少量盝顶，即截头四方椎体，另有横券顶。

It is the top of the inner space of the grottoes. Generally the appearance of the grottoes changes with time, as do their roofs. The early central pillar grottoes all have inverted funnel-shaped roofs, except for a few horizontally vault roofs and a few “lu roofs”, with the shape of the truncated pyramid.
