洞窟形制之一。埋葬僧人尸骨的洞窟。莫高窟现存瘗窟均位于北区，此类洞窟较小，平面呈方形或长方形，制作较粗糙。
It is one shape of the grottoes built to bury monks. All built in the northern section of the Mogao Grottoes, the burial grottoes still seen today are small and in the shape of a square or rectangle and normally constructed in crude fashion.
