A ritual-opening prayer from the Tang Dynasty with a total of 42 lines. The script is an adaption of the Warm Room Sutra and pays tribute to the bathing of the Buddha’s body. The prayer generally introduces the process of the Shakyamuni Buddha’s attainment of enlightenment after his descent from Tusita Heaven, and states that prayers will be answered by the Buddha with boundless kindness.
