The Crescent Moon Spring

敦煌名胜，位于敦煌城南鸣沙山中，因水面形状酷似一弯新月而得名，素有“天下第一泉”之称。

It is one of the scenic spots in Dunhuang that is located in an oasis, along with Mingsha Mountain, in the south of Dunhuang City. It is named “crescent” because of its shape and is known as “the finest spring in the world.”
