Sun and Moon Crown

菩萨冠之一种。菩萨顶束大髻，曲发披肩，戴三珠宝冠，在宝珠上饰新月，月中托日。

It is one of the Bodhisattva’s crowns. In these images, Bodhisattvas have large topknots and wavy hair trailing over the shoulders, wearing the three-jewel coronet that is decorated by a crescent holding up the sun.
