定义

初盛唐出现的佛龛形式之一，平面作梯形，龛顶向里倾斜，形成外大里小，前高后低之敞口形。

It is one shape of the niches built in the early Tang Dynasty and the High Tang era. The sides of the niche are cut in the shape of a trapezoid so that the niche top tilts inward making it bigger and higher in the front but smaller and lower at the back.
