定义

政治力量是指参与政治活动并对政治活动产生影响的各种政治派别和政治集团的总和。政治力量包括某个阶级、阶层、某个政党、政治集团或其他各种政治组织、政治联盟等。国家机关是政治力量最常见的形式，国家机关为了调节社会矛盾在其行使权力时就表现为一种最大的政治力量。政治力量的形成有一个发展过程。一个政治集团要成为独立的政治力量，需要具有一定的政治觉悟，特别是对本集团的利益和地位的自我意识，并且在此基础上形成一定的政治组织，致力于实现一定政治目的的斗争（彭克宏，1989：203）。政治力量表现为有形的和无形的两种，有形的政治力量的基本构成是：阶级、政党、军队和其它政治组织或联盟；无形的政治力量主要指人民政治意识的力量。政治力量受着民众力量举足轻重的影响。一项政治事业即政治主张和政治目的符合社会发展的客观规律，顺应历史潮流，它就会人心所向，力量无比。否则就会人心相背，丧失力量，走向衰败。政治力量的形成是一个历史发展过程，一个政党能够形成独立的政治力量不但需要一定的政治觉悟、紧密团结和铁的纪律，而且要具有对代表的阶级利益和地位的自我意识，要有始终不渝为实现自己的政治目的而奋斗的信心和决心。一个政党的政治力量的强大，主要来自人民（孙钱章，1990：392）。
