| 释义 | 平棋图案【英】Flat Ceiling Pattern定义敦煌石窟建筑装饰一种。北朝中心柱窟窟顶平棋(天花板)和中、晚唐诸窟佛龛龛顶平棋上的装饰。窟内顶部四坡遍画棋格形团花，形同佛龛龛顶平棋装饰，在敦煌图案分类中，亦可称平棋图案。 It is a type of architectural ornament as found in the Dunhuang grottoes. It can be seen on the ceiling of the Central Pillar Cave from the Northern Dynasties (AD 439–589), as well as the ceilings above the niches in all grottoes from the middle and late Tang Dynasty. It is a grid-like motif which resembles a chessboard, spreading over the four slopes of grotto ceilings. |
