Little Bell

定义

小型钟。不同的是钟用褪碰撞发音，小钟则在其内部系小舌(类似金刚铃上的小舌)，摇撞而发音。莫高窟第148窟(盛唐)壁画上一六臂飞天演奏的4件乐器中有小钟图像，六壁飞天一手持拨弹奏五弦，一手持小钟伸臂摇奏，还有吹奏横笛和拍击铜拔的，尤其是双手持铜拔，高举于头顶上部演奏，颇为精彩，此为一组完整的管弦乐小合奏图，实属罕见。

Bell with smaller size. The difference between bell and little bell is that bells are played by knocking with “Tui” while little bell makes sounds with a small metal tongue inside by shaking it (like the tongue of the metal bell). In the fresco in Cave No.148 (flourishing Tang Dynasty), there is a little bell among the 4 instruments played by the six-arm Apsaras. The Apsaras plays a five-string lute in one hand, a little bell in another hand, and also plays the flute and brass cymbals. The brass cymbals are eye-catching as the Apsaras holds it over head. This picture integrates the wind instruments and string instruments, thus is really special.
