定义

客观性是与主观性相反的概念，狭义上讲，客观性指事物、现象不依赖于人的意识而存在的特性或性质。广义来说，客观性具有多种含义，大致包含三方面的意蕴，即本体论的客观性、认识论的客观性和价值论的客观性。具体来说：第一，本体论的客观性指称客观实在，也就是本体实在，是外在于事物自身，即存在于我们之外的事物，并从外面通过我们的认识所把握的事物；第二，认识论的客观性是作为哲学和科学的认识论或知识论的客观性，是指不以人的意志为转移的事物的普遍性和必然性。其要点是：科学理论的客观性附属于实在或客体而不是认识主体，采用客观的方法或程序才能达到对事物和现象的正确认识，最终形成与实在或经验符合的、具有真理性的知识和理论。第三，价值论的客观性即作为价值标准和行为准则的客观性。对实证、理性之类的客观判断标准的承诺，在对世界的认知中秉持一种客观、公正、中立的立场，尽量排除和减少个人的兴趣、爱好、期盼、偏见、任性等等的影响，一切从事实出发，而不是从个人的主观愿望出发，并自觉地接受实践的检验。客观性与主观性属于相互关联着的两种性质，它们在统一关系中存在。客观性是相对于主观性而言的，而且它本身就包含着主观性（李醒民，2007：66）。
