Daquan River Flood

主要发生在夏季7、8月份，成因为暴雨洪水，具有来势凶猛，陡涨陡落，历时短暂，年际变化极大等特点。莫高窟底层洞窟内一般都留有洪水痕迹。

During July and August, heavy rains can cause flash flooding in the Dunhuang area. Most of the ground floors of the Mogao Grottoes got influenced by the flood.
