All four wear heavy armor and helmets with different weapons in their hands. They pose in an awe-inspiring manner with strong physiques and stern facial expressions. It is believed that the Four Heavenly Kings are capable of eliminating evil and suppressing demons; therefore, among all the deities in Buddhist grottoes, they most embody masculine beauty.
