Konghou (Chinese Harp)

定义

弹拉框箱型乐器，最初名为坎侯或空侯。中国流传过两种形制箜篌：（1）卧箜篌。其形态特征为：长方形共鸣箱，在面板上粘有品位（2）竖箜篌。为一种三角形框架多弦乐器，竖立演奏。

A plucked string instrument with a framed body, also known as the kanhou in early times. There were two kinds of konghou in ancient China: (1) the horizontal konghou. It had a rectangular resonating box for its body, with frets stuck to its neck; (2) the vertical konghou—which was a triangular string instrument, played vertically.
