是从丰富的衣纹的曲折向背为体现的一种描法，有其独立性。特点是压力不均匀，运笔中时提时顿，产生忽粗忽细，形如兰叶的线条。枣核描、柳叶描属于这一类型。

Lanye (Orchid Leaf) line drawing: a line drawing technique which depicts various twists and turns in the drapery folds of clothing. The technique is distinctive, since the painter can wield the brush with an inconstant strength and by lifting the brush a bit or simply pausing, can create lines that vary in thickness and look like orchid leaves. Painting skills known as zaohe (jujube pit) line drawing and liuye (willow leaf) line drawing also fall into this category.
