涅槃经变的情节，主要讲述释迦牟尼涅槃后，八国国王因争舍利，发生战争，最终八国平分舍利，和平解决。

This is an illustrated scene described in the Nirvana Sutra. Eight kings fought a war over Sakyamuni’s relics after he had reached Nirvana. The war ended with the eight kings peacefully dividing the relics among themselves and protecting the relics inside pagodas they had erected.
