The Five Wrong Views

不明事理而引起的五种邪恶见解，指身见、边见、邪见、见取见、戒禁取见。

　The five wrong views are incorrect views which arise from not perceiving the Buddha-truth, which refer to: satkāya-dṛṣṭi, views of the self; antar-grāha, extremist views; mithyā-dṛṣṭi, perverse views; dṛṣṭi-parāmarśa, belief in ideology; and śīla-vrata-parāmarśa-dṛṣṭi, belief in ethical and ritual supremacy.
