1.断，弄断 break; snap：禁止攀～花木 Jìnzhǐ pānzhé huāmù. Picking flowers is forbidden. fig. 幼年死亡 die in one's early days：夭～ yāozhé die young ［折磨 -mo］使在肉体或精神上受痛苦 cause physical or mental suffering; torment：解放前劳动人民受尽了～～ Jiěfàngqián láodòng rénmín shòujìnle zhémo. The labouring people were subjected to various torments before Liberation.
2.损失 suffer the loss of; lose：损兵～将 sǔnbīng-zhéjiàng lose one's generals and soldiers
