(literal) • Still waters run deep. • No man can play the fool so well as the wise man. • He is not a wise man who cannot play the fool on occasion. [同义] 深藏若虚 To humble oneself. [反义] 不懂装懂 Assume a knowing air. [源] 老子:“大智若愚。” 老子没说过“大智若愚”,苏轼模仿老子的句式说过“大智如愚”。《古代汉语大词典》“大智若愚”:“苏轼《贺欧阳修致仕启》:‘大勇若怯,大智如愚。’意本《老子》‘大直若屈,大巧若拙’。” |
