定义
个体所有制又称个体劳动者所有制。是国家经济所有制的一种形式，是生产资料和生产成果归个体劳动者占有的形式。经营者个人既是投资者，又是劳动者，是企业的唯一参与者，自负盈亏，自主经营。个体劳动者一般指个体农民和个体手工业者。个体所有制产生于原始社会末期，存在于奴隶社会、封建社会、资本主义社会和社会主义社会，是极不稳固的、容易分化的所有制形式。在社会主义社会，个体所有制大都通过合作化转变为集体所有制。但社会主义社会不是单一的公有制社会，而个体经济具有经营规模小，方便灵活，适应性强的特点。因此，允许一定数量的个体所有制存在，作为国营经济和集体经济的有益补充，对发展社会主义商品生产和满足人民各方面生活需要具有积极作用。（个体所有制.via:
