定义

伦理学中反映和概括道德现象的一些基本的概念。道德范畴有广与狭之分，广义泛的道德范畴指反映和概括道德现象的特性、方面和关系的基本概念，既包括道德原则和规范方面的基本概念，又包括道德评价、道德教育和教育修养方面的基本概念。在这个意义上，凡是体现一定社会整体对人们的道德要求，作为一种信念存在于人们内心并能时时影响和制约着人们的行为，反映个人与他人、个人与社会之间的最本质、最主要、最普遍的道德关系的概念，都是道德范畴（林藩，2000：9）。狭义的道德范畴仅指反映人们之间道德关系方面的基本概念，如善与恶、正义与非正义、正当与不正当，荣与辱、义务、良心、幸福等等（金炳华，2003：665）。不同的历史背景、社会制度会有不同的范畴群。中国特色的社会主义道德范畴有其自身的普遍的本质的规定性，有其自身的范畴群。
