道家论著。该书主旨为解释老子所说之“道”。每章前皆冠以“老子曰”，对清静、无为、贵柔、虚无等道家思想多有阐发。

It is a Taoist work. This book intends to explain what Lao Zi’s concept of “Dao” really means. Each chapter begins with “Lao Zi once put it”. The main content is about tranquility, letting things take their own course, valuing softness, keeping modest and other Taoism ideas.
