Hand Drum

定义

鼓腔为窄边式圆框，蒙皮，彩绘装饰。左手持手鼓，右手持褪敲击。如莫高窟第148窟(盛唐)东壁经变乐队中有一乐伎持手鼓演奏。莫高窟第233窟(宋)南壁和第327窟北壁(西夏)的飞天乐伎也演奏此鼓。鼓的形状、大同小异。

The drum cavity is narrow and surrounded with painted leather. When playing it, the musician holds the drum with their left hand and beat it with a Tui in the right hand. On the east wall in Cave No.148 (of the flourishing Tang Dynasty) of the Mogao Grottoes there is a musician playing the hand drum. The Apsaras musicians on the south wall on Cave No.233 (of the Song Dynasty) and the north wall of Cave No.327 (the Western Xia Dynasty) also have hand drums but slightly different in shape.
