灵验记之一，谓张居道在温州事屠宰业，因屈杀牲畜而被阎王追索，后发愿写《金光明经》，故被放还。张居道后以此经为安固县丞妻化解宿命冤仇等。主题为宣传《金光明经》有灭罪禳灾之效，并宣传断肉止杀，善修功德。

One of efficacious works of Buddhist classics, SAYING Zhang Judao, a butcher in Wenzhou, China, whose life was claimed by Yama for killing livestocks and subsequently released for vowing to copy Suvarnaprabhasa which was used by Zhang Judao to resolve the previous lives’ knots of hatred of the wife of the magistrate's assistant in An Gu county, aimed at publicizing Suvarnaprabhasa which has an effect to the extinction of the sin and misfortune and publicizing the prohibition of eating meat and killing to cultivate and accumulate the merits.
