定义

幻象，是哲学术语，意即“假相”（彭漪涟等，2010：139）。印度哲学认为，现实世界由梵变化而出，实为幻象（冯契等，2007：1639）。乔奈波陀指出，一切事物的差别是假谛，是像梦幻一样虚幻不实的；从真谛的角度看，生灭变化的世界是不存在的，存在的只是本有常恒的自我；梵是大我，自我是小我，大我与小我是同一的（彭漪涟等，2010：139）。商羯罗认为，梵创造世界，世界是幻象；世界的幻象由人的“无明”形成；由于人只有“邪智”而没有正确的了解，因而人只能看到幻象，不能达到梵的本质（冯契等，2007：1639）。在西方哲学中，古希腊的巴门尼德认为，存在是实在的，现象界是幻象。埃利亚的芝诺的难题就以现象中的矛盾对现象是幻象进行了证明。高尔吉亚从现象界是幻象出发，对“无物存在”进行了证明（彭漪涟等，2010：139）。古希腊罗马哲学中的怀疑主义理论认为，呈现于人的认识中的世界是幻象，是不可靠的。古罗马的奥古斯丁指出，我怀疑，因而我可以确定我怀疑的真理，我被欺骗，我至少因被欺骗而确定我的存在，奥古斯丁的观点对于世界是可被怀疑的幻象进行了肯定（冯契等，2007：1639）。近代法国的笛卡儿从怀疑世界的幻象是存在的出发，得出我思故我在的结论。德国的黑格尔认为，幻象是绝对精神的一种表现形式，具有实在性。列宁指出，黑格尔的观点是对幻象也是本质的反映的说明，指出幻象既有虚无性、也有现实性，并指出，幻象的东西是本质的一个规定，本质具有某种幻象（彭漪涟等，2010：139）。
