天龙八部之一。在佛教中，天神并没有超脱生死轮回，仍有堕入恶道的可能，因为他们仍和人、畜生处在同一个大的等级上。

It is one of the Eight Divisions of Dragons and Devas which refers to the heavenly beings, deities, and celestials who live in happy worlds, and who, as a rule, are invisible to the human eye. They are subject, however, just like all human and other beings, to ever-repeated rebirth, old age and death, and thus are not freed from the cycle of existence and from misery.
