Four Perceptions

定义

众生对个体身心错误执著的四种相：我相、人相、众生相、寿者相。

The four perceptions that sentient beings falsely attribute to their bodies and minds: (1) the illusion that in the five skandhas (elements of a sentient being's existence) there is truly an ego; (2) that this ego is human, and different from beings of other paths; (3) that all beings have an ego born of the five skandhas; (4) that the ego has an age—a determined or fated period for which it exists.
