其一指出家四众，即比丘、比丘尼、沙弥、沙弥尼；其二指僧俗四众，即比丘、比丘尼、优婆塞、优婆夷。

Refers to the assembly of Buddhists, which includes: bhikkhu (a male monk), bhikkhuni (a female monk), samanera (a male novice monk), and samaneri (a female novice monk). It can also refer to the fourfold assembly of both Buddhists and lay Buddhists, which includes: bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, upasaka (a Buddhist lay man), and upasika (a Buddhist lay woman).
