It was probably hand-copied during the late Tang Dynasty. The copy in P.4597 is slightly different from that in P. 2886, since it is not rhymed in a checked tone (“entering tone,” i.e., words ending in the voiceless stops p, t, k, etc.), and the last three characters of the second and the fourth lines are different from those in P.2886 as well. |
