Vernacular Narrative Prose

定义

敦煌写本中通俗韵文赋体作品。其中叙述故事的作品又称“敦煌故事赋”。为区别于汉魏六朝文人赋，早期研究者对此类作品，一般统称为“俗赋”。

They are vernacular rhymed prose (known as fu in Chinese) pieces from the Dunhuang manuscripts, including narratives also known as Dunhung Narrative Prose. Early scholars of Dunhuang studies referred to them collectively as vernacular or popular Narrative Prose in order to distinguish them from the refined fu poems written by intellectuals during the Han, Wei, and Six Dynasties.
