佛教经典，谓一长爪梵志就因果业报问题向释迦牟尼提出种种疑问，问佛是因何原因得三十二相之果报，佛答所作业因是“八支净戒”。长爪梵志因此而归依三宝，奉持八支净戒。

A Buddhist classic of the Buddha’s teaching on the “Eight Ways to Nirvana” for answering Dirghanakha Parivrajaka’ s questions, concerning the matter of karma and retribution and the causes of thirty two dharmas, which made him convert to the Triratna and uphold the “Eight Ways to Nirvana” reverently.
