敦煌石窟艺术内容之一。敦煌石窟是建筑、雕塑、壁画三者结合的立体艺术。壁画指在石窟甬道、四壁及窟顶上所绘的佛画。敦煌石窟内的绘画，为敦煌石窟艺术的主要内容。现存莫高窟、榆林窟等处，大体分为佛教经变画、装饰图案、历史人物画像等类型。

Dunhuang Murals: the major part of Dunhuang grotto art which integrates architecture, sculpture, and murals. The Dunhuang murals are Buddhist paintings on the corridors, walls, and ceilings of grottoes. They are found in the Mogao Caves and the Yulin Caves, etc., with the majority consisting of sutra paintings (jingbian), decorative patterns, and paintings of historical figures.
