Ushnisha

敦煌艺术中所表现的释迦三十二相之一。实为佛顶之肉团，高突周圆，其状如髻。梵名乌瑟腻沙。

It is one of the Thirty-Two Signs of the Śākyamuni Buddha. It is actually a fleshy protuberance on the top of the Buddha’s head (and not merely hair) in a perfectly round shape. It is called ushnisha in Sanskrit.
