打击类金属体鸣乐器。饶与钹同类、亦为铜制。只不过大小之分，大者为钹，小者为饶。饶的发音清晰。

A metal percussion idiophone that is like a cymbal. The rao and ba are both made of copper and differ only in size. The bigger ones are called ba and the smaller ones are called rao. The rao can produce very clear sounds.
