莫高窟第290窟北周修建，主室中心塔柱东面、南面和北面各塑倚坐佛一铺，西面塑交脚菩萨一铺。

Mogao Cave 290 was built during the Northern Zhou Dynasty (AD 557-581). In niches on the eastern, southern, and northern sides of the main hall's central pillar are statues of seated Buddhas, and in the niche on the western side are sculptures of a group of Buddhas in cross-legged lotus poses.
