1.用压力使排出 squeeze; press：～牛奶 jǐ niúnǎi milk a cow/ ～牙膏 jǐ yágāo squeeze the toothpaste out of a tube
2.互相推、拥 jostle; push against：人多～不过去 rén duō jǐ bu guòqù We couldn't push our way through because it was too crowded./ ～进会场 jǐjìn huìchǎng push one's way into the meeting hall ext. 排斥 push aside; exclude ( comb. 排- pái- push aside)：互相排～ hùxiāng páijǐ each trying to squeeze the other out
3.许多人、物很紧地挨着，不容易动转 crowd; pack：一间屋子住十来个人，太～了 Yī jiān wūzi zhù shí lái ge rén, tài jǐ le. It is too crowded for more than ten people to live in one room. |
