1.拿着，掌握 hold; grasp：～笔 zhíbǐ write; do the actual writing/ ～政 zhízhèng be in power ext. 固执，坚持（意见） be stubborn; stick to (one's ideas)：～意要去 zhíyì yào qù insist on going/ ～迷不悟 zhímí-bùwù refuse to admit one's errors; be perverse ［争执 zhēng-］争论中各执己见，不肯相让 disagree; dispute; stick to one's position and do not yield in argument
