1.经线，织布时拴在机上的竖纱，编织物的纵线 warp, threads running along the length of cloth
2.地理学上假定通过南北极与赤道成直角的线，以英国格林尼治天文台为起点，以东称“东经”，以西称“西经” longitude, imaginary line from the North Pole to the South Pole over the surface of the earth, crossing the equator in a vertical angle, measured, in degrees, from Greenwich. The lines on the east of Greenwich are called Dōngjīng (East Longitudes), and those on the west are called Xījīng (West Longitudes)
