2.蚕在蜕皮时像睡眠那样不食不动 dormancy; the inactive state of the silkworm before it sheds its skin：初～ chūmián the first stage of dormancy/ 蚕～三～了 Cán mián sān mián le. The silkworm has completed its third stage of dormancy. ［冬眠 dōng-］蜗牛、蛇、蛙、蝙蝠等动物到冬季不食不动。也叫“入蛰”(zhé) winter sleep; hibernation, (of snails, snakes, frogs, bats, etc.) neither eat nor move in winter. Also called rùzhé. |
