1.兄弟排行，有时用伯、仲、叔、季做次序，季是最小的 the fourth or youngest among brothers (the other three being bó, zhòng, shū, jì from elder to younger)：～弟 jìdì the fourth or youngest brother/ ～父（小叔叔） jìfù the youngest uncle ext. 末了 last：～世 jìshì the declining years of a dynasty/ ～春（春季末一月） jìchūn last month of spring
2.三个月为一季 season (consisting of three months)：一年分春、夏、秋、冬四～ Yī nián fēn chūn, xià, qiū, dōng sìjì. A year is divided into four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. ext. (-子 -zi、-儿 -r)一段时间 a period of time：瓜～儿 guājìr a time when melons are ripe/ 这一～子很忙 zhè yījìzi hěn máng I'm very busy recently. |
