1.旧时成年男子的通称 a general term for adult men in old times：农～ nóngfū farmer/ 渔～ yúfū fisherman ext. 旧时称服劳役的人，也作“伕” (in former times) a conscripted laborer, also written as “伕” ( comb. -役 -yì servants; coolies)
