不以人废言 | bù yǐ rén fèi yán | Not regarding others’ words useless because of the persons. (literal) • Give the devil his due. /If the counsel be good, no matter who gave it. • Give credit where credit is due. [同义] 不耻下问 Bow down your ear. [源] 论语·卫灵公：“君子不以言举人，不以人废言。”
