In xuanxue 玄學 discourse has the positive connotations of radical potentiality, unlimited possibilities; in preBudd. cosmology stands for 無形 wúxíng, “the Formless, or Indeterminate.” 4. rhetorically dismissive negative: regardless of OBJ, no matter whether . . . 5.
