佛经中的诗赞。亦称“偈颂”，在佛经原典有一定的韵律格式，译为汉语，多采用四、五或六、七言诗的形式。

Also known as Ji Song in Chinese, it refers to a verse or gatha of praise in Buddhist sutras which have a certain pattern or metre. Poems of this type are mostly rendered into Chinese in different sentence patterns, with four, five, six, or seven Chinese characters in each line.
